Have an idea/challenge for a little something different..

Except for early years in ww2, most battles seem to migrate to heavy combat units.. the biggest punch that money can buy.. (most of the time), fairly long visible ranges, etc..

would there be anybody out there that might be interested in a little something different..

light armor, low visibility, mech troops..

so, here's the idea:

game map - 100 x 100 minimum.. no random maps.. maps from MBT or WW2 pool..

time: just after normandy in june/july/aug 1944

Force makeup:
Light armor only: which means armed HT's, Light tanks, Light TD's, Armored Cars, etc.. nothing with a gun bigger than 75mm, and armor greater than 6
No Medium tank class vehicles allowed

any sort of troops allowed

AT guns no larger than 57mm (6lb for the Brits)

artillery no larger than 82mm mortars..

visibility of.. 10! (night/twilight battle)

6K points ( 500 points max for artillery )

Hi Steve,
Flooding problems in my area has somewhat stabilized,now the rain has stopped
Right now i'm finishing up the last of my WW2 games on the previous version and will be able to upgrade to the current soon.
