Hi Chaps

Just finished my lastest model.
1/72 Hasegawa F-4F. Early 80's Luftwaffe in a the lovely splinter camo.
I have really distressed the paintwork as I was trying to copy a really beaten up 'Toom I have seen before.
It made heaps of errors as usual, but also got plenty right...hurrah!
Anyway...here she is..

Cheers lads
Just spent half of my lunch break looking at these nice pics, thanks! That dirty/worn look outside cockpit is quite authentic, well done! That's not easy to do in a 1/72 model.
Thanks mate ;)
Bro you have just made a model of my most fav aircraft. So you have me there.

But that is prob the best example of an aircraft model I have seen. The painwork is fantastic, but the scheme is what wins it for me.

If you ever go into the business of making them to sell, I would be your number one customer.

EXCELLENT !!
Great job Jason, The splinter scheme looks great, as does the weathering.....cheers
Thanks for the comments guys.
As always I tried very hard to make it perfect...and failed dismally Big Grin
Still, I learned many thing and it's right up there with my best. I am quite happy with the paint job, trying to really capture the beaten up look of those German Phantoms.

Cheers again cheers
Phantom II for the win. Those Luftwaffe pilots need to scrub out that cockpit; cripes what a mess!

Cool! Still waiting on the Spitfire.
Wonderful Paintjob!!!

A model excels or fails with its paintjob and weathering and yours is fabolous!
Keep it up!

Best regards
