So, I'm back. Been a while (485 days, to be overly precise).

Upgraded to SPWWII 4.5 and looking for one more opponent. (Roberto and I already have resumed our border war. Only, there's more real guns than bitmap ones on our border since the last time we played. :() Prefer to play Eastern Front as Soviets.

Let me know if interested.
What game conditions you offers? Probably, I will agree...

I'm not real picky. Shall we say?:

July 1943
3000 points
450 points max in artillery
No ordnance units
1 air unit each

Sound agreeable? Slot 1 OK?
Agreed, excepting "No ordnance units" rule. I have got used to play with ordnance units.

I'm offering such settings for our next game:
WinSPWW2 v4.5
3000 battle points
July 1943
Meeting Engagment
Me - USSR
You - Germany.
All realism preferences ON, other player preferences 100%
1 air unit each.
15 % artillery limit (450 мах).
Оrdnance units are allowed.
Allied/Captured equipment are allowed, but no more than 10% (300 max).
Avia/artillery bombard in turn "zero" are forbidden (excepting smoke screen
statement).
approx. 100 х 100 map.
25 turns
40 visibility
Basic security.
Slot 4.

Who will create a game and to choose a map? I can...
By all means, please do set it up.

Slot 4 is fine.

I will send you an e-mail soon.

Good luck.
Seabolt, welcome back traveller. How are things ?

Things are good, truly are. Took a long break from the game, not so much by choice, but that worked out well. Gave me time to contemplate some things that the elite players (Narwan, Vesku, Cross) threw at me that I didn't have in my own game. Maybe I can throw a little change-up in my SPWWII Fu.

Roberto (RVPERTVS) and I keep up outside the game. (We have drinking and dodging the drug cowboys in common, and really what more do you need?) We got to playing again. Which made me realize I missed it. So here I am looking for an opponent I don't know like the back of my hand. We'll see how this Russian does at throwing a scare into me. I don't suppose Epoletov is still around so I can talk some broken-English smack should I win? ;-)
Hi there mate! Nice to see you are still alive and kicking :)

Epo is still around, maybe he can arrange you some Russians to play with if he is too busy to taunt you himself.

Kicking, literally. I got shanghied into coaching a youth soccer football team, starting tomorrow. Odds are it'll go like this:

Me: Sheeeit, you call that a tackle?

My Youngest, rolling his eyes: Dad, the other football, remember?

Me: I was wondering where the pointy ends went.

Leo, upthread, is a Russian. He even hijacked my beloved Red Army, set me up as the Germans. I figured Epoletov would know him; he used to know everyone playing this game with a .ru suffix.

Glad to see you're still about, Vesa. Still lacing up the hockey skates?

LOL Shanghaied sounds just what has happened there, good luck with that career. Old fashion football has much simpler rules so you shouldn't have too much trouble there.

I would if I could, got a whiplash two months ago and still going through physio, neck is giving me pains. More time for SP :)
