Players of generated PBEM campaigns, you can explain to me?

After fight, I can sell all destroyed formations for an overall cost (even without repairing them!), and buy just the same troops (or another for my taste). Opponent have destroyed my army, but I for free have restored her.

It seems stupid. How you play with it?
hmm Interesting. I wanna know all informations conserning pbem campaing games too!
You either agree not to use it before start or you accept it.
Amen!
Hang on guys are you saying in a PBEM campaign if you delete (sell) a formation that is destroyed without repairing you will get its cost back if so needs sorting or are you saying get part of cost back which is correct.

Example 4 tank platoon one survivor if sold should get costs back that allow you to buy more than one tank, the additional points are from.
1) Tank has gained experience so is now worth more
2) Level of destruction of destroyed tanks from total zero points for to easily repairable as in low damage which will get some points for. If repaired them cost might be say 40pts & 70pts respectivly
3) Did crew survive if so you just sold him to

Thats how it should work if you can sell that platoon without repairing & buy the same 4 tanks then thats a bug is this what is happening?
I did a test to confirm and yes, if you lose 3 tanks each worth 100 pts and decide to delete the formation after the battle you get 300 pts which buys you back the same three tanks or anything else worth 300 pts.

Not sure if that's a bug though, it might be intended to keep your core from diminishing which usually happened earlier, your repair points were not enough to repair the damage after most of the battles making your force smaller and smaller after each battle. I remember starting a fight with only five tanks out of two companies late in a long campaign.
okay cheers Vesku will bring it up at least we have an answer then
It's been awhile, but one the developers had said in a camp. it's better not to repair units you intend to upgrade or replace, thus that way save on build/repair/upgrade points,
Seems fishy to me also, but that's the way it seems go.
You can put them in a brand new spanking new vehicle, with no repair cost!
Maybe i misunderstood something not the first time:whis:
Just as an odd thought, WHY?
The purpose of a campaign is to increase the experience level of your troops.
Wouldn't a whole sale replacement defeat that purpose? I could see it if a formation was wiped out and you had no higher experience level to replace.
IT might help against the AI but vs a HI normally a company of MBT's at 50% that have increased their experience by 20 points will wipe the map with a full strength MBT company at normal experience levels. Maybe after the first few battles when the increased experience isn't as large, but after the 3rd battle, you should have a core of 'elite' units. Losing them means starting over.
