Wow! :eek1:
I played it once in 2003 and once in 2006.
I knew I played it but it took looking at my stats and who my opponents were to bring back the memory of it. :chin:

Butt kicked in 2003. Won it in 2006. :kill:Whip

cheers

I played it recently as the axis and got a minor (all rules, except EA and VV). I think I was lucky. What sticks out most in my memory are the casualties. Brutal fighting. I lost the center, but held on to the flanks. Near the end I got a lone tank in behind him, threatened to retake a couple of objectives and caused enough havoc to ruin his advance. Fun game and close score.

I like it, haven't played it for a couple of years now but still have good memories and would play it again at any time. A scenario with true balance like a lot of the well played classics that have been discussed here.

Germans can really use the road network and be all over the map at once switching flanks to the trouble spots, once it get bogged down into the town fighting it can get very bloody and the Russians can even the score.

Lots of options for attack and defense a big map for the amount of units involved and some kicking bits of kit to boot.:smoke:
