The medals can be awarded on any ladder, but you are the first member to receive them and i am glad to hear that we have been more generous than the US army!
Not only better than the Army, but you may also have saved my marriage, at least for a few more months. Now when my wife complains about all the hours I spend gaming, I can show her these medals and tell her, "You see, it wasn't all for nothing."
