What would you like to see new or updated in the next version of CS-Rising Sun?

I have put in a couple of new unit requests on the Matrix Board ...Heavy howitzers. I am unsure about the 3 jungle hex double time. OK for the early war, but from say end 1942 on, the Japs had such great supply difficulties that starvation was not uncommon.

This can be remedied by creating later war infantry types, as I have done for other nations.

I stopped playing CS when I was playing my Burma DCG. Back then we were told that WF would be worked on next and RS after that. Then Modern Wars became the priority and WF/RS was pushed back further. I became involved in other games and haven't really followed what is going on here or at Matrix other than the occasional peek.

I'd have to dig through old threads at Matrix and I'm not going to do that now if the update isn't going to be worked on for a year or two.
Just curious...

Was reading the newest issue of WWII History magazine and they had an article about the knee mortar and how effective it was. It basically gave every squad some indirect fire. Not sure how this could be figured into a platoon-based game but interesting none-the-less.
"Knee Mortars" are already in the OOBs.

oops, excuse my ignorance and lack of knowledge of RS. Big Grin
actually, I believe the "3 hex force march" was included in the last patch (for all of the clever cats to explore). It only applies to "elite" units. For late war, "out of supply" units; use Japanese regulars, Germans or Italians, hell, use Americans for that matter...they all move the same.
