Full Version: New Graphics Mod for Sicily '43
You're currently viewing a stripped down version of our content. View the full version with proper formatting.
The mod for Panzer Campaigns Sicily is now available for downloading.

This is the third in the West Front series ( West Front 1.5 / Sicily 1.0) and features large and small parchement-textured 2D maps with integrated fortification symbols and repainted vegetation and buildings.

[Note: For those of you who already downloaded it, the post-announcement of version 1.0 corrects several mistakes and omissions in the pre-announcement version of 1.0].

This is actually an experiment to see how the new Blitz Forum imaging system works. For an alternate view of the same screenshots (or just for comparison purposes), visit this thread at the GameSquad Forums:

Here are a few images of what Sicilian terrain looks like:

All of these screenshots except the last two have FOW off.

I'll eventually apply directional lighting to the counters, but not until I'm sure the counter colors won't need changing.

The Sicily mod is the third in this series (West Front 1.5 / Sicily 1.0) and can be downloaded from here:

This mod would not have been possible without Volcano Man's and Jison's spectacular work.

To install the mod, start with a clean install of HPS Sicily with the latest patch, then add the latest Volcano Man Sicily mod, then add the latest Jison Sicily mod, then add my mod.

For the mod to work properly, the installation has to be done in exactly that order.

The latest HPS patches can be found here:

Volcano Man's mod site can be found here:

(you'll need to register but it's no big deal)

Jison's Mapmod site can be found here:

And I'd like to extend a big thank you to TheBigRedOne for giving my mods a new home.
Using it now. It looks nice. Good work.
