My home PC bit the dust last night, at least until I get a new fan and power supply, which might be a while because we're pinching the pennies at the moment.
Playing PBEM on basic security is it possible to transfer games to a new computer i.e. continue my PBEM on my work computer on a new install of SP?
Yes, basic security games can be switched to another PC mid-game.

If you live in Canada or the US - and need a new power supply - I recommend Newegg.com or Newegg.ca for computer parts. I buy most of my PC hardware from them, and usually get a better price and service than Amazon.

But don't buy a cheap power supply, take a look at the Corsair ones...good quality at a reasonable price.
Thanks mate, the help is much appreciated. And I'll check out Newegg.ca.

Something else to think about. Until you buy another, watch trash for other people throwing puters away. You'd be surprised how many people would toss the whole puter because something stopped working. My brother has gotten several puters like that and replaced one or two parts or fixed a software problem and then had himself a free puter. Also watch for the possibility of adding an extra fan to your puter, never hurts.
Good point. I'll keep my eyes open.
