Have there been any reviews of France '14 yet? When are they expected? Typically, there would be some by now. Maybe the critics are still having too much fun playing it to write about it. hehe

Hmm, no reviews that I have seen as of yet. Do they even review these kinds of games anymore? ;)

Maybe you should "position" the France '14 as a "shooter" game. After all, those German 420s pack quite a wallop - albeit, the rate of fire is rather slow.

I don't think enough people appreciate the learning that is possible from playing this game. I certainly have a new and deeper understanding of WWI. Until this, Tuchman's "Guns of August" was my only connection to the first months of the Great War.

I agree, after i have played each HPS title i have also had a far greater understand of the campaign it depicts and F14 has been no different.

I'd volunteer to write one but it would be really short. I mean how many ways can I say it's a great game!

I already have The Breaking Point: Sedan and the Fall of France, 1940 that is a joy to read.
