Just in case Jason has run out of ideas, I thought maybe we could reopen the next version wish list.

I'd like to see two things, off the top of my head:

1.) I'd like to see special objectives hexes, where the objective not only has to be reached, but blown up, like a bridge, railroad junction, etc. Think it would add something to scenario designs that departs a bit from what we have now. Could still have the old type, but the new might be a different color. Great for commando raid scenarios or resistance fighters.

2.) I'd like 10 turns of digging in to mean something, if my guys have to stop and fight for a turn or two before getting back to it.

What else?

Dave
I'd REALLY like to see the ASDN patch as an option and compatible with all CS games. That shouldn't be so hard, should it?
Hey. Whose the new guy?
1. Day-night/night-day transition.
Possible now but does involve playing around with the files. How about looking to automate it?

2. Minelaying engineers
Removal of the one minefield per scen limitation. Why..nothing magic about mines, just another form of ammo in a box on the truck. Safe and easy enough to handle. As long as the element is in supply, undisrupted etc. Present situation makes no sense to me.

3. If possible an exit hex facility to be activated at a given turn. This might help historical reality.

4. Off-board arty to be available for a perid fixed by the designer, from turn x to turn y. (I have no idea if this is feasible). Again appropriate for historical scens, esp for naval support.

Like others, I have submitted some unit wishes via the Matrix site.

This would be cool for dawn and dusk scenarios. Transit the visibility scale up or down, with a selection of how many turns to add or subtract? Have the designer select a setting with a button click. Nice!

I've liked the way clearing works but, I am up for this. Due to the scale of the game, how many mines could an engineer clear in six minutes? I know lanes through fields took minutes to hours.

I like this one!

I really like this.

a civilian marker...even before Vietnam. During the early Pacific fighting...that was paramount for the Allies.

Of course, when Stalin invaded Manchuria, in '45...it was as equally digested by the Japanese...

Cheers

Good point....but how much concern for civilian lives was there at the time , compared with Vietnam and subsequent conflicts?
during the Japanese invasion of southeast asia, against the Allies...overwhelming.

The literature speaks for itself...
Hello All,

In no paticular order.

1: Air missions that arrive as reinforcements.

2: Motorized leaders that can get out of their staff car and be on foot.

3: Artillery be able to direct fire when low on ammo.

4: Air transports that can land on an airfield drop off (or pick) troops and then take off again.

5: Panzer Brigade 150 with the ability to be used as it was.

Thanx!

Hawk
Hawk,

air missions as reinforcements...not a clue...

Scen designer can make a foot leader riding a car...who can then be dismounted.

arty...no help...

AT...not a clue

PzB150...you wish...

cheers
Curt
