Hi, didn't know where else to post this thread--not a forum guy. I have been having trouble loading and playing the 'modified' Abyssinia scenarios for West Front. I have a 2.02 version of the game going, but it's on my older XP OS, which doesn't make a difference when I run any other games. Is there something I should be doing in order to get these scenarios marked with a double asterisk to work?
I just fired up Ende Gorge using Vista and had no problem (Matrix 2.02). I've also played it before on a Windows 7 box, but with an older Matrix version.
What specifically is happening?

Hi. I am basically playing the game on XP, an older OS, but have it patched and upgraded to 2.02. It basically plays fine, with the occasional crash, which might be expected, but what seemed to be happening was a crash right at the load in of all of the games that I downloaded that dealt with the Ethiopians (they all have double asterisks at the beginning of the title which I don't really know if it signifies anything I should know or not). I've never experienced a crash right on lift off. But oddly, when I loaded in another game with the ** (Big Bully) it started right up. When I went back to try the others again--THEY all started right up!! So, I am pleased, but befuddled. I don't know what I did, but hey, if it works, I'm not complaining!! All of the other scenarios I've downloaded have worked fine. Thanks!!
