I am breaking tradition by posting outside the H2H area but I could really use one more test game of the Aachen West Wall scenario to finish up the required 4 tests and clear the H2H process. (whether for better or worse...lol..) I've been tying up a slot in the H2H queue for some time now. It's a large scenario and I realize not everyone enjoys playing the big games.
We have 1 game complete, and 2 in progress, which means I'm 1 short.
The scenario details are fully laid out in the H2H area, and the scenario description and read me files are also very detailed.
In short, if you believe you might enjoy a large scenario, late 1944, US vs. Germans, where the Allies are trying to achieve an armored breakout (or break-through rather) some tough German positions along the Scharnhorst and Schill Lines this may be the scenario for you. It's well balanced as is, thanks to the hard work of Von Luck and kernelt, and you won't be playing a fatally flawed or hopeless scenario.
Our players all seem to be enjoying it.
As a large scenario it may be that some of you would prefer to play a team game and split the work, and that is certainly possible. (the test game I'm currently in is a team game with dawags, smedley, and chuck10mtn).
The Yanks are laid out nicely for a 2v2 game with two Corps Commands on map, the XIX and the VII.
The Germans are composed of (elements of) 7 divisions, which did not originally have overall Korps Commands, but my latest revisions are adding 2 Korps Commands to facilitate team play for both sides of a 2v2 game on both sides. These Korps Commands are fictitious in nature and only for ease of organizational play. Other than possibly improving the German supply situation they do not effect gameplay.
