I've noticed a lot of new members not listing an email address :conf::conf:
Makes it extremely difficult to contact them in regard to gaming :hissy:
I'm not surfing the new users to find an easy matchup
Just thought some of them might want a game versus a victim that might provide some assistance and not be all that difficult to defeat :dunno:
Pat
Hi Pat,
Have you tried the "Email me" or "Pm me" link when take a look at the profile of the bootcamper
maybe this hiding the emailaddress, is a new undocmented feature of the new blitz website
regards
Remko
Good call Remko.
I just checked the top ten bootcampers and I could email all of them. :chin:
HSL

What I've done regarding giving my e-mail address out is the following:
- I've got a main address as
[email protected]
- I've created a separate, outer layer of addresses such as
[email protected], the one I'm using here
- I've then set my main gmail address to automatically import all mails sent to my outer addresses
- I can also send out using that alias from my main address
As a result I can view all my incoming e-mails from one address, but should one of outer addresses be compromised for spamming I can just remove it for ever.
I hope this helps should anyone be afraid in registering their e-mail address to their Blitz profile?
(Sorry, can't remember whether it is mandatory to give out an email at one's profile...)
All member email addresses in their profiles are encrypted. We also use a recaptcha program to allow access a member's email address to stop bots and such.
