In the standard campaign of Moscow 41 as the Germans you need 0 vp's for a minor defeat and 6500 vp's for a minor victory. You start with 6200 in VP hexes.
Are these right or am I missing an update?
How can the Germans get anything less than a draw?
Lose most of the objectives, plus suffer more losses than inflicted which is possible, and you lose. Idea is to encourage an attack by the Germans before a strong Soviet counterattack starts. Haven't played this one so I am not sure how it works out, but I have tried it in a couple of scenarios, a Kharkov variation stands out for example.

I suppose. I would have thought the VP level would be set to force the Germans to advance. It's 1941, the Russian probably aren't going to chase the Germans off the map and take every VP hex! :)
I don't see how the Russians could cause so many more casualties in order for the Germans to get some sort of defeat if the Germans decided to not advance at all.
