I´ve installed the patch today, really an outstanding improvement.
Get ready for massive online battles. The guys from the NCC, Gamesquad etc.. will challenge us soon. All you need to take part, drop me a mail and install Hamachi Virtual Network.
It´s a free download for non - commercial use and a must have for online gaming.

Sounds good but my pbem days are over as I'm now retired and pick up the odd last minute bargain holidays but enjoy WitP/AE against the AI.

The biggest problem I had with Guadalcanal is that the game gave the USN an edge with radar when in fact radar didn't work in the Solomons for a number of reasons: Almost all initial sightings were with optics, giving the IJN an edge it doesn't get in the game. Does this new update deal with any of these issues? j :cheeky:

Just installed the HPS Guadalcanal patch and tested the new ooB editor.
You can adjust scenarios without any problem now.
Midway will definetely be the next game I´ll purchase !!
Online gaming is great, you´ll miss a great event !
