Ok, after numerous years running the show and being the go between I have decided I have had enough.

So I am looking for persons to submit their wish to take over the blitz ladder. You should be able to log onto the server at least once per day to check the MBs and try to solve any problems that come up.

Post this thread if interested. BTW - Jason is probably stepping down too as RL issues are heavy right now.
Salute!

Bro, you have done a Stirling job as Commander of the SP ladder.
Hurrah!
It has been a pleasure working with you to keep this forum up and running.
Maximum respect indeed.

In normal circumstances I would be stepping up to take the slack but as you mentioned, RL issues were just about to knock me out of contention as an officer here anyway.
So, I will take this opportunity to say adios as assistant commander.

I hope to still be active on the ladder and keep the trickle of games rolling in to the ladder...but my time as 2ic is over.

Cheers for being a good crew, all you lads.
You've shown great form and made our job fairly bloody easy (especially compared to the dramas on some of the other ladders here!).
Hurrah!

Respect
Walrus
Sad to hear that guys, it really is.

Chris you have done a great service to the game of Steel Panthers and you have been a driving force in the Steel Panthers community here at the Blitz being what is. You will be missed in so many ways, with the running of my first Tournament to teaching me the ropes. I have learnt alot on the best way to run the CM ladder from you so thanks for that. Plus you have been a great friend since I joined.

And Jason its a bugger that RL comes up like it does, but I have enjoyed you input into the SP community. Your knowledge about SP as a game is almost unrivaled and your help in the Tournaments I have run has been most helpful.

Thanks for your input and as a fellow officer I want to thank you both for taking the time out of your own lifes to run a professional ship, I know the burden it can take. Its is unpaid, but we do it for the love of the game.

So thanks for all that both of you have done, it is appreciated!!
Sorry to hear that know you guys do a lot of stuff behind the scenes,
I am on extended break at the mo so cant access daily but that may change in 3 or so weeks in which case would be willing to step into one pair of shoes if no other takers. Note email has changed if want to contact me then CP is updated.
Thanks guys. My main reason for stepping down is that I really no longer enjoy SP like I use too. Each day I open my email and see my CM games waiting and I am excited to see what has happened. But when it comes to SP I find the turns are turning into a chore which isn't good. When you have to force yourself to play a turn, well then it is time to move along.

I will stay on until the AP tournament is finished though, so I guess that is end March.
Just FYI - even if no one steps up I am standing down after AP is over so if Imp decides he doesn't want it, and no else does, then your ladder will be a ship without a rudder.
I am always here to help out. It will not be entirely with out a rudder, you have set it on a good course Chris.
Send me an email closer to the date as will have a better idea of my position, if no one else steps up & I can only visit a few days a week that will have to do. Agree entirely if your hearts not in it call it a day we only get one shot at life so enjoy it.
Steel Panthers are remarkable, when battle is created beautifully. :smoke:
Now my Iraquis it is remarkable beat Americans in 2003. :censored:
Both of commanders sweat. :)

I plan to begin in the summer new multiplayer campaign and it for certain will strengthen attention to SP.
My friends from the former USSR so also speak me.

I could be the assistant here while мнея will not replace someone better knowing English language. :stir:
Losing both of you at the same time!

Thanks for all the time you volunteered, and your hard work.

I hope we will continue to see you both around this forum from time to time.

cheers
