What does "size of the scenario in kb's" mean with calculating the size by example an Eckmuhl scenario?

Every computer file is of a certain size in kilobites, megabites etc...if you click on any scenario file you will see that they are all different sizes, the bigger the scenario in terms of units the bigger the size in kb's.
