Is that the English word for the Germans?

It's not English at all, at least not dictionary terms, unless it's a slang word, never heard of it my self
He i asked it to someone and he said it's the German word of soldier of the Wehrmacht.

From what I've read it (landser) is the German term for an infantryman.
It means "infantryman, grunt, ground pounder."

It comes from "Landstreitkräfte," which means ground fighting forces or army.
