I notice that many members still don't have an Avatar showing on their posts, if you would like to have an Avatar here is how to do it!

First click on Control Panel....

Then on My Options -> Change Avatar....

Then click on Avatars Gallery....

This opens the range of Gallery's in the top section of the box, if you click on a gallery the Avatars inside will be shown in the bottom half.

Select an Avatar and the code will be automatically entered and you just then need to click Update Avatar....

If you then go to view a post your Avatar should be visible! Big Grin

If you wish to upload an Avatar from another location then click Browse select the file you wish to use and then click Update Avatar the maximum dimensions is 80x80 pixels and the max file size is 40kb.

*bump*
And how do we create our own?
Basically you can have any picture you want as your avatar (as long as its not offensive or will cause any issues - or it may be removed).

Make it 80 by 80 pixels and you have an avatar - follow Fouls guide to upload it and bingo.

You may decide to have a fighting rooster or chicken just like Darren or a mighty fine looking fighting man like me. ;)
Now here comes what may seem a dumb question.
How do you reduce to 80x80 in paint?
I've tried but obviously don't get it.
I have adobe photshop and that work for reducing stuff. If you have something in mind send it through and I can get it the right size and send it back to you.
How about this one?

Thanks in advance:)
Ron
ok try this. :)
Seeing as you've offered....... :whis:
The image viewer & art program that microsoft supply are probably the very worst available. Many free art packages crop & scale which is what you need or download Ifranview its a free image viewer & can do it to.
Handy to have something that does this as many uses.
Replace the pictures in SP with ones you like for instance or make pictures the correct size for your desktop without them being stretched.
