Hi guys,

I got an email asking how to post images to the message board. The new site makes it much easier than the old and I just discovered this myself. You're going to love this:

Go to the "Control Panel" area. The link is it the upper right, below your sign-in name. Then click the "My Personal Stuff" link and then "My Files". The new site gives you a certain amount of space for personal files. You can create folders and upload files. After uploading a file, you can click on the file name and it will give you various options, like the html code you'll need to cut and paste into your post. I recommend keeping photos around 500-600 pixels wide at no more than 100 dpi (or 72 dpi). Anything over that will make for slow viewing and isn't necessary. Here's a screen I made as a test and it also shows the area I'm talking about. Also, check out Randy's tutorial in the "Important Threads" area. It's the old way, but he gives a little tutorial on preparing your images.

oops. That didn't work, so I took the URL code (https://www.theblitz.club/uploads/users/...screen.jpg) and clicked on the "insert Image" icon above where you type your post and added the link there.

Quick addendum: I'm told that after clicking on the "get html code" choose the BB ones at the bottom. Just cut and paste it into your post. The other's I'm told don't work yet(?) The BB ones have the [IMG] tags already in them which will work from the post.

Guess we'll have to just experiment a little.

Indeed when you click "Get HTML code" you will see this box....

The image you are looking at is the address (BB code) you can see highlighted in blue, copy & paste it into the post and it will be displayed.

It is also best to crop the image before uploading it, i use MS Paint as it is very simple and all the instructions needed are in Randy's post.
