Someone is always using some excuse for a turn delay.

Sometimes it's "Christmas" or "Thankgiving" or "Heart transplant" :hissy:

Sometimes it's "The birth of their first child" or "Being transfered to a war zone" or "Having to travel to some Scandinavian country to receive a Nobel Prize"

Once-in-awhile, you read something creative like "Having to donate a kidney to a favorite pet" or "A resent appointment as Director of Home Land Security".

Come on :bang: Don't we all know that this is just an excuse, cop-out, coverup, or justification for spending some time with family and friends and ignoring a commitment to make daily game moves :curse:

You too? Now O-Man is telling me he can't send his latest turn "because of the Health Care Bill". Need to get our priorities straight here. Same with that War Zone thing. Next time tell Jim to load CS on his Blackberry and while he's on patrol or dodging mortar rounds he can always play some of his turn (you'll have to give him the benefit for a lot of saves.....).

I also wish everyone on the Blitz a Merry Christmas and a prosperous 2010.

My favorite excuse is "I have a surprise vacation"

If your turn delay lasts longer than four (4) hours seek immediate medical attention.
