Not sure where to put this link. I found it interesting and thought others might also. Apologies if it's already been posted or if this is the wrong place.
Nice find. Well worth the read.
Reminded me of a recent battle where my chinese had to take one victory area twice just to lose it twice ... and take half of it back on the last turn ... and that was a battle of mere 20 turns :)
Was that the one where you rallied from routed that T-59 that had been hit twice by 152mm HEAT, killed two(2) M551's before capturing those v-hexes?
Another turn and it would have been over for that T-59. The cluster would have changed hexes 3 (three) times.
Oh yes, it might have been that, except that it was not alone :)
Thanks for the link...really a great insight as to what it was like in the battles and the shermans...they were more appreciated that what is commonly thought....
There is a pic I found online a while back that I always got a kick out of..its a japanese officer in the turret of a tiger tank..It was different and I always thought it was a great pic..have to see if i can find it..i had it until my hard drive crashed and got wiped out.
