Not long after Opn "Brevity," in which the British captured Halfaya Pass, the Germans took it back. The defending force was 3rd Bn Coldstream Gds, with A/T, arty and Matilda support. The attack comprised 3 assault groups, presumably fron von Herffs' Gruppe.

Elements or subunits.... companies and below. Or their equivalents in other arms/services.
