Guys,

I was wondering how to alter weather and visibility during a game?

Am currently playing Agony in Huertgen and want change to muddy or winter alternative from WF UserMods and cut visibility.

Am aware I can alter both in Scenario Editor, but an on turn 24 of and don’t want to have to start again. Just want to alter them from where I am.

There is no way to change them through the normal game engine. Supposedly there is a way to edit the save file, but I don't know the details. I assume that this is a game against the AI?

Thanks for quick replies, but have managed to work it out, or at least I think so.

They may be another way to switch weather conditions mid-game, but .... what I did was open battle file as a word document, and cut and paste the second line of the numbered encoding - which denotes weather conditions - from a winter game into the file.

I believe the top line is visibility, so needed to alter that too.
