I need some help. I am working on a CG mod for WSF. I am starting to compile the Air OB for the allies and axis for North Africa 41-42. Can anyone help me with air unit arrivals/withdrawals during this period? Or failing that suggest some good sources for this kind of info? Any kind of help would be much appreciated.

cheers
Michael,
I thought the section on the Med/Desert war in this book was very good, but i am not sure it will give you the sort of numbers and squadron arrivals info you are looking for?

Anyway here is the link........

Thanks Darran. That book looks very interesting. However Rick has very kindly supplied me with a superb Air OB for the RAF and the Luftwaffe. I can't express enough how impressive this work is, thank you very much Rick.

All I need now is info on the Commonwealth air units and the Italian air units.

Thanks for the help guys :)
Glad to help Michael, but not my work, just somethign I had found on the Internet that looked EXTREMELY complete, not just for North Africa but all theaters for the 2 countries. Looking forward to the results.

Rick
Great stuff Rick, you have a real knack for finding info from the net, you must just be patient or ask the correct questions in Google. :)
Still trying to track down info on Italian air units in North Africa 41-42. Can anyone help or direct me to some good sources…..:conf:
If you look around Comando Supremo : http://www.comandosupremo.com/RANA.html has a few stuffs interesting...

By the way what was Ricky source on the internet?
I would have to look when I get home, David. It was a British gentleman's work, I believe, and the data was designed for a game - Warbirds maybe? Or maybe something else, but it was very detailed and the guy supported it with some legit sources at least, so best I can tell it is accurate in addition to detailed.

Rick
Thanks David, that site gives good info on the 1942 Italian air OB, but nothing on 1941. I might have just enough data now, but some more on 1941 would be good.
