Hello Guys.

Just a question.. Some of custom scns are blocked to download when you try to do from the club Scenario depot. why?
I thought this were a temporal matter, but recently a club member request to me about an old own scn (Two bridges at Nijmegen). Despite I have a copy of them, I usually release all my scns to the community to allow play them in the H2H section or directly to the scn depot if they are been fully tested.

Thanks.

Chema,
Scenarios are not blocked for download. Though, I have not tried to download the Two Bridges scenario, I have downloaded many others.
In fact, your Sword Beach scenario (referred to on the Matrix forums) does not have a map file in the zip folder. Does the scenario share a map with another scenario? Or, did the map file not get uploaded?

Try yourself https://www.theblitz.club/scenarios/show...0&ladder=2

and I never designed a Sword beach scn, it must be done by other designer, so my question still is unsolved.

Cheers.

Chema,
It seems to me for whatever reason the Two Bridges scenarios files are not located on the server, so if you can mail me all the files necessary to run the scenario in a zip file i will attempt to upload them for you. ;)

Sorry Chema. :(
In my haste to help the other player find his file, I got you mixed up with Luca CHIEI.

I did go to your "Two Bridges" scenario and saw it was not available for download. :chin:
I still cannot access the Scenario FTP area. Maybe Foul can, and look for the files in there?

cheers

I played the 2 bridges against Jeepster some time ago & we both enjoyed it.

I had a minor victory but overexposed my units & he counter attacked on the last turn to take a draw.

Hope others can play it too.

(I changed computers so I do not have the files. Please let me know when they are available. Thank you.)
Hello.

Two bridges scn sent to the H2H custodian.

But I've noted with amazing some of others scns are blocked too.

Das Reich closing the Gap
Bluecoat. Rats vs Hohenstaufen
Fallschirmjaegers at Corinth
Panzermeyer's few

I was not aware of that, until a club member give me a warning

Just to rule out the obvious:are you absolutely positive the scenario files were uploaded when the scenarios was added to the database?
There is no such thing as a scenario blocked from downloading :) There are scenarios in the database which have files attached to them(and which can be downloaded) and scenarios which don't have files attached.

Ed,you can access the public FTP area by using:
Host:theblitz.club
Username:anonymous
No password is required.
Just to add on to what Raz said when you create a scenario entry at the DB you are asked if a scenario is stock(came with disk) or custom(created by a player)?

If stock is chosen then the scenario entry just shows Stock scenario, if custom is chosen and files are uploaded then the scenario entry shows Download files and lastly if custom is chosen and no files are uploaded it shows Custom Scenario - Not available for download at this time.

So going by my experience with the DB it would seem files were not uploaded for this scenario, however if you are certain they were then i have no idea what has happened to them??? :chin:
OK it appears because i am not a member of the CS ladder i cannot change scenario details at the CS scenario DB, however here is a step by step guide to DIY. ;)

1) Go to G4 Supply and then Scenario database,
2) Click Add Scenario Info to DB,
3) Navigate to your scenario by using the menus,
4) On the first page add your username and password at the bottom under Please identify yourself,
5) Then click yes,
6) On the second page at the bottom where it says Add file for download browse to the scenario files on your PC and upload them! :)

If all goes well when you go back into the scenario DB you will have the files located at the scenario entry, let me know how you get on.
