I tried the manual, but I didn't find it... How do you get a unit to exit on the exit hex? I've just been sitting on them, but I don't get the points. A button or command you use?

Under one of the top tabs (can't recall from memory, I don't have the game on this computer), there is a "Remove from Map" feature. Click on that and it will ask you if you want to remove your units from the map...
