I was going to aim for flank shots but I have 8 tanks advancing in a group against my AT gun and in that turn they moved in such a way that only one had LOS to the gun. So I hoped to kill it from the front and avoid retaliatory fire from other tanks.
Hm, the AT gun killed the T-34 with its first next ordinary AP shot, just as T-34 was acquiring. Go figure.

Am displacing the gun.
Wunderbar Herr Glider!!
Killed a T-70. No serious losses.
Ordered my gun to hide, enemy has lost the LOS so we're still in the game. Gun has fired all tungsten shots with not one hit! Still have APs so will wait for the right moment. Those 2 T-34s started moving northwest toward my left flank (where my gun is). Enemy infantry is at about 100m from the crossroad. It's getting more and more difficult for the MGs to suppress the enemy. Ammo is low and the jams are more frequent. My infantry is hidden and ready to open fire when enemy tries to cross one small portion of the open ground in the treeline.
Mr Chuck, watch out as I have identified Russian SMG troops among his infantry. These guys will kill your troops in seconds if you let them close to below 60-100 metres.
Russians have abandoned one T-34 due to fire from our 50mm gun. There are still 4 T-34s left and one T-70. Our gun have only 2 APs left.

Fierce fighting is taking place at the crossroad. Russian infantry is charging at our positions supported by the area fire of the tanks. We've lost two HMGs and the third is about to be lost. There is only one broken man left... But our brave infantry is still holding.

On our left flank enemy infantry is trying to charge across the open field and are at about 100m close. I don't think they can do much more.

Crossroad is critical. We're still holding but that could change in a minute. We have a firefights at the 30m range. There are 5 more turns to go and they will be finished today.

Is it worth to try firing 20mm at the T-34 from the 800m distance?

Ratzki do we send just last turns (No. 35) to you or the last couple of them?
Turn 24. Things starting to heat up. We killed a T-34 and two T-70s, another T-34 is both immobilized and gun damaged. But we lost one 50mm ATG and one 20mm, also about 20 infantry.

His SMG troops are using the wood along the road to approach the crossroad and are now within 100-150m. The attrition must be quite bad, though, his infantry advancing across open fields has so far absorbed 400+ ammo points of my heavy machine guns.

Mr Chuck, it is worth using 20mm at 800m against a T-34 since that is how I scored my T-34 mobility kill.
20mm is firing for a few turns now and had one track hit but didn't immobilize the tank. With 50mm same thing, one track hit, but no damage done. 50mm is out of ammo now...

Two more turns to go and it's really hot at the crossroad. One Inf Sqd is routed and one has only one man left.
The battle is over! 20mm managed to immobilize one T-34. I'll write a full report tomorrow. We are still in our starting positions.

Ratzki, I've sent the last file to [email protected]. If you need it on some other address let me know. I haven't send the last file to Combat Wombat so we both didn't see the AAR of the battle. You could post the screenshot of the AAR here.
If you want me to send him the last file, let me know!

Cheers!
