Hi all
I was wondering if anyone could help me with this ,
I moved house this year and since then I have been unable to play CBM on line ,when ever I try to play multi player ,I get this message sent back to me; IP address not found .
I have tried all the IP’s I have on my PC to get it to work, but none of them seem to work!
The funny thing is the before I moved house I had no problems at all, the person I used to play has the same IP address as before?
So why can I not play him any more?:(

What game is this for Darren?

You may get a better response by posting directly in the forum that supports that game.
Darren, can you tell if it is your IP that is a problem or the other player?

Also, going through the Internet, if you use a router to connect to the Internet through your service provider, your router will have a different IP than your PC, and it is the router IP that is needed, on your end. There are ways to determine that, what operating system do you use?

Otherwise, as steel god mentioned, going to the forum for the game you are playing may get more help, although it won't change the issue of IPs being determined.

You might have a new Internet Service Provider (ISP) who is assigning a different IP address to you. Usually the outside world sees the IP address of your router rather than your PC itself and the router's IP address gets assigned by the ISP. Even though the outside world sends the network traffic to your router, the router is smart enough to forward the traffic to the correct computer in your house.

Below is a link to an image that should show the IP address of what the outside world thinks your IP address is:
