Blitzers:

We (Dale Wagoner/Dan Caviness) are looking to start a game, preferably tracked on a ladder, 2v2 PBEM.

My partner and I are "average" speed players. We get moves back and are fully dedicated...but with work commitments and travel we will promise a weekly turnaround. That being said...most turns we get back in 2 or 3 days.

A large scenario would be our preference. I like the look of "Showdown at Borisov". We've never played it but it's a big, fairly wide open tank fight for anyone interested. "Fight for the Panther Line" also looks promising.

Or...any other suitable team PBEM game you can suggest.
You name it...we'll play. EF/WF/RS.

While we don't have ladder stats, we have been playing for years, and I think experienced players will enjoy a match with us.

Dale and I have been killing each other so long we thought it might be fun to work together for a change.

So anyone looking to beat up a couple of old men...either PM me or simply respond here....and thanks!

Regards,

Dan
I may up for a team game if my peace offer to an old foe is accepted.

Rob
I'll play. Both scenarios would be blind for me. I presume the scenarios would be played using JTCS. I prefer to play with all options on except for variable visibility and extreme assault. I'm also willing to play with Smedley if he wants, or I can find another team mate. I guess Smedley needs to let us know if he has a team mate already. I am experienced with team games and recently joined one with Reddog, Kernel t and Mr Roadrunner, which is proving to be a lot of fun. Let me know.

Thanks,
Jim ~ Guderian
I also have some team game experience and would be interested in teaming with either Guderian or Smedley if there is an opening.
Smedley....let us know if your old foe accepts peace...sounds like we have the makings of a 2v2 match here!

If your in it's you and Guderian.
If not, Jim~Guderian and Montana Grizz.

Thanks for the quick reply guys.
I'm really looking forward to it.
Dale and I just started teamplay matches, and we're enjoying them a lot. Having someone else to shoot when it all goes wrong...the old Russian apology so to speak...makes it all the more enjoyable...
cheers

Once Smedley gets back to us, we can set up the rules. As stated above, we're happy to play with any or all optional rules on or off. I'd like to give "Showdown at Borisov" a try if you all don't mind. It is a big scenario and lends itself to teamplay.

Since we're all blind...I do suggest we each at least open a test scenario to assign divisions....sides...etc.

After we hear from Smed I'll pm everyone and we can start.

Regards,

Dan
Dan,

What side are you guys playing?

Jim
Jim:

Your call on that. We're OK with either side. I reviewed the setup (only to figure out how to divide forces of course...NOT to derive tactical advantage...lol...) and the Russians are First Side.

No one is fixed either side, and both sides are heavily and continually reinforced.

Your pick.

Dale and I seem to be destined to be Russian of late, so I guess I wouldn't mind taking the Germans for a change, but it's really up to you and your partner as to whether you want to play offense or defense.

I'm pm'ing you with more details.

Regards,

Dan
I would be glad to partner with Jim. I don't care which side we play.

Is the scenario decided on? Showdown at Borisov?

My email is [email protected]. Send over details and rules.

Looking forward to a great battle.

Rob
OK...Smedley...your in....
Montana Grizz...we'll get you next time.

And actually if your interested we can run another game...I have a couple of guys playing in H2H right now who have time for another game...let me know.

Smed...I'm pm'ing you the details...

Regards,

Dan
Dan,

Unless Smedley (Rob) objects, which he probably won't based on his post, I'm okay with our team taking the Russians so you guys can play the Germans for a change.

I will contact Rob this evening to plot your team's destruction and work out options, ROEs and etc. :)
