Full Version: Not sending CMT file during PBEM game

I recently played a game against an opponent who would not send the CMT file. I quickly noticed that none of his units would come within 1 hex of my units but were always 2 hexes away so as soon as I moved his units blasted the daylights out of mine then would move and attack when my units were retreating. I believe this is a result of playing a turn then reloading the turn when he knows where my troops were. Can anyone verify this!! I wont say who it was but I resigned the game.

Thanks in advance
I'm assuming your opponent is a member at The Blitz?

How many games has he completed/logged, against how many different opponents?

IIRC, unless you get both files you can't see the replay, maybe that's just WinSP?

Anyway, I think I would insist on receiving all 3 (WaW) files, or both (WinSP) files. If your opponent refuses to send all the files, I'd want a good explanation as to why not.

A 'full security' WinSP game should expose reloads of the same turn.
If it was WinSP, did you check the loads/quits (hotkey: 1)?
He has only posted 1 game on this site. But says he plays a lot.
The hot key only showed loads, 0 on quits nothing for reloads.

It may have been completely honest but I dont know.
Thanks for the info

CMT is a comment file, just text, the text you type for the name of the save slot. You don't need to send it after the first time because it is exactly the same through the game.
