When I start up the EF II all start normal.

I see the opponent's turn announced.

Then it does'nt want to play :Not supported on Win NT.

I have Win XP???

Txs ,if some oneknows how to fix that?

cheers
Andrew
The error message is generic and not much help, nor could I find too much on the web. I'm suspecting it has something to do with not being able to tell if the CD is in the drive, even though that's not the error you should be receiving. You don't supply enough additional info to be of much help. The path to your CD must be the same path as when you installed the game, so if for any reason you changed the drive letter, the game won't play.

Only advise I can think of is to do a reinstall and make sure you have the right patches. You don't say if it's Talonsoft or Matrix, but Talonsoft has to be patched.

Jason Petho wrote out an excellent list of installation and patching instructions at the gamesquad site. Go here if you want to check out your install: http://forums.gamesquad.com/showthread.php?t=20307.

Hope that helps a little and good luck.
Txs,

I will follow those instructions closely.
And we will play TS CS games.

cheers

Andrew:

With all the difficulties you are experiencing (based on your numerous posts) with the Talon Soft disks -installation, patches, OS compatibility... not to mention that the TS version is not supported by Matrix... why not purchase and install JTCS? :chin:

UK JTCS Overview / Download Link

"This exclusive compilation offers more then 350 scenarios, fought by more than 35 countries stretching from France to the American coast. Also included in this compilation, which has never before been available for sale, is the ”Fall of the Reich” official expansion for East Front II!" - excerpt from JTCS overview (Matrix Web site)

Other reasons to purchase and install JTCS:

- RS, WF, and EFII combined on one CD-ROM
- Game installs on your hard disk drive - no more swapping out CD-ROM disks!
- Hundreds of new units
- Majority of CS players have made the switch to JTCS... difficult to find TS opponents? :chin:

In the end; of course, it is your choice Andrew. I cut my wargaming teeth on the old Talon Soft version... but once I moved to JTCS, I never looked back! :smoke:
OK;

After my business trip,
I will go for matrix.

Txs,
Andrew
