It is currently -11 degrees F (-23C for those not here in the US) here in Wisconsin (where I live) and Illinois (where I work).
The interesting part about living here in the upper Midwest is that you experience a lot of weather that you can relate back to military history. Tropical heat in the summer and unbelieveable cold. I thought about the Winter War and Korea this AM as I took my dog out to do her business. I don't know how anyone can fight in this type of weather. Brutal.
