I have noticed that helicopters in travel mode, that do not move, recover fatigue.

This strikes me a being incorrect.

I think your reading too much into the detals here.

Consider that any ground unit in T mode which doesn't move would recover from Fatigue, then making Helicopters different would require a programing exception which is of course possible if there is a worthwhile reason. But when you think, about turns which last three hours, I doubt these choppers could stay in the air that long anyway.

Given that there is enough exceptional programming done for Helicopters, if there is no good reason to look for an exception here, I'd be inclined to leave it as it is.

What might be worth looking at is giving fatigue to helicopters when they move - to simulate repair time following flight time?

Also why not add fatigue to artillery when they fire as it is artillery can fire 24/7 and not suffer fatigue. Not that I have read much but a certain Mr Milligan said his battery was shattered at Longstop Hill having fired all day.

but it's a game :)

To be honest I am not bothered either way. However, it does allow a helo unit to rest behind enemy lines and still only be targeted by air to air. I personally don't use use my helo's like that and finding an enemy helo unit behind my lines in any mode I consider a bonus.

I just noticed something which I thought was wrong and thought I would flag it up

Hmm :chin:, so is snakes and ladders. We choose to play this one because it simulates operational level combat with some realism.

Feel free to flame me if you mustShark2

I would drop the issue if I were you. We've fought long and hard over helos and it will get you nowhere real fast!

No plans to take it any further. As I said, just high lighting the issue.
