Hi im looking for some one to play as the Germans in Smolensk Alt Campaign with following rules

-Arty Set Up
-Automated Defensive Fire
-Virtual Supply trucks
-Limited Air Recon
-Night Fatige
-Low Visibility Air Effect
-Recon Spoting:)

If you are going to play the Alt version you should always use the optional rules indicated by Volcano Man in his sticky thread at the top of this forum.

Just to be clear these are not Blitz rules, but the Opt rules suggested by VM for his Alt scenarios in order for them to play correctly.

If you choose to use other Opt rules you will not be breaking any club rules, but risking a unbalanced game.

FWIW Automated Defensive Fire has no effect unless you turn on the Manual Defensive fire optional rule.

I know it sounds like double talk due to the naming of the two ORs. MDF causes the turn to break down into phases. There are four of them. The ADF rule speeds up this process a little by reducing the phases by one, allowing the AI to conduct the defensive fire phase.
