This is a guide to playing online - TCP/IP.

The easiet way I have found to play online is using a progarm called Hamachi.

Hamachi is a freeware application that establishes a connection over the Internet that very closely emulates the connection that would exist if the computers were connected over a local area network.

Simply download it here and it sets it self up.

The next step is to join the Blitz Hamachi Group.

The name of the group is: The Blitz

The password is: BlitzCM

Then start up Combat Mission and play it by TCP/IP.

Your opponent then goes to Join Multiplayer Game then join Network game and types in your IP addres which is shown next to his name in the Hamachi box.

Easy really and so much easier and faster to play.
Hey Wigam, I tried to join the The Blitz hamachi network but couldn't because it said that the network is full. What does that mean?

Hi YC

Ok i have never heard of that before, let me do some digging and i will get back to you. :)

Cheers
Ok have done some digging, it says that the network can become bogged down sometimes due to loading on the server but keep trying, as far as I am aware there is no limit on numbers in one network.
Thanks Wigam I'll keep on trying...I can log onto the test network if that is any help.

Anyone else have this problem?
I have just done some more research and have found that each account whether free or premium can only have 16 free members on it. Which kinda sucks. :( It can have 256 premium members though.

We could start another Group but you would not be able to see the members of group 1 and vice versa which defeats the point.

What to do? I will have a think about it.
Wigam, thanks for finding that out...
