For the record.
The Greenboro Baptist Church are a very bizzare bunch.
They are a small, mostly one extended family :whis:, group who have a very hate filled
doctrineal approach to worship.
They have a special hatred for homosexual lifestyles and anyone who tolerates them.
They protest anywhere they will get media coverage and use gaudy neon coloured signs proclaiming "God hates...." whatever they can think of.
They don't like Sweden as it seems that the Swedish Govt. closed down a like-minded preacher / church who was preaching hateful messages against homosexuals.
Therefore God hates Sweden.
I believe they were going to protest at the Burial of Obama's grandmother, though I have a sneaking suspicion that they would have been blocked from doing that.
They often protest at the funerals of US soldiers killed overseas.
Now...all that being said, let's just leave it there and get on with playing Steel Panthers.
Much as I love a healthy debate and in this case, the public exposure of anti-social behavior, this IS NOT the place to do it chaps.

The always well-informed Walrus is correct, the Greenboro fellows got ticked off by the trial against the Swedish priest Åke Gren. (BTW Gren wants nothing to do with them.)
It is just a bit of fun, there's nothing to debate here. The text is hilarious with some classic quotes. I mean.. "Beware of Sweden – Land of the sodomite damned." Priceless.
