Imagine how good it will be now that you can fire smoke, and you can turn them off from auto discharging by clicking on them on the info page, so that you can stop pesky crews from doing it when you dont want to.

BTW you do know how to fire smoke rounds, dont you?

What other treasures await those who read the manual.

Actually I didn't know you could turn them off, but not sure why you would want too.
As far as I know, in some situation during enemy turn (than a tank of yours is being shot at) tank commander can release an SD by himself.

Turning it off can save smoke rounds for future use.

This is my rough recollection of a quote. Wish I knew who to attribute it to.

Cheech. Or Chong. I forget which. Maybe Walrus.

Common scenario: You park your tank in rough terrain, no movement penalty, awaiting its prey. Said prey pops up at high speed. Your tank opfires and misses at ~40% hit chance. Opponent returns fire at ~5% hit chance ...

... your tank pops smoke rather than return fire at ~60% hit chance ...

It's often best to turn off dischargers till you need them.

hahahaha...good one Gene

I have been known to use that quote before :smoke:

You are right on the money re. why you would want to turn off the SD on occasions. It sure can screw up a good ambush / overwatch.

Cheers
