I’m having difficulty figuring out how to arm mines. I’m playing SaW and have a unit with several Mon-50’s. Is it possible to arm them, and then the unit can move on? I’m not sure they’re working or I’m using them incorrectly. Most likely the latter.
SaberSeven:

In order to arm the mines, you need to drop them in the proper hex and then move the placing unit to adjacent hex. The mines will now be armed. As long as there is a unit adjacent to the hex with the mines, they will stay armed. If you move all of your units away from the hex, the mine is no longer armed and can even be picked up and used by your opponent.

"Drop"? How do I do that? You don't mean unload obviously. Maybe they're explosives rather than mines. They start with the units from the beginning of the scenario.

He exactly means that. Unload button drops the weapons too.
Yeah, picture arming a mine/booby trap while you are still carrying it then detonating it. Bad stuff, although a valid tactic of the fanatical suicide bombers.[/i]

Unload the mine on the hex you wish to have it, then back away one hex. The mine will 'arm' and anything that hits it will have a chance at setting it off.
Ah seems so logical now that I get it. Thank you for being so patient with me guys, much appreciated.
