Hi guys I just got CS v 1.01 and I hear there's a big new 1.03 mega-upgrade available which some players apparently don't like.
So what shall I do, stick with 1.01 or upgrade to 1.03?

The official 1.04 UPDATE, which is cumulative, will be available in the next few days, might as well just wait for that.

I would upgrade to 1.04 because the extras introduced after 1.01 are huge... IMHO.
Lots of new scenarios, new equipment, new nationalities and others. If you stay with version 1.01 you would not be able to play with any other players that have upgraded beyond version 1.02.
There was some discussion on a few glitches with 1.03 but those were to be corrected with the latest 1.04 version. Just my 2 cents...
i´m looking forward to upgrade.
on the other hand i have still some games going on with the version 1.03.
i understood that version 1.4 /1.04 beta don´t work with version 1.03?

Matrix will probably kick me off their Press Reviewers free game List for saying it, but I'm finding the CS graphics to be absolutely appalling, or am I doing something wrong?
Even with bases on at full 3D zoom, the units look like matchstick men without any meat on them, and vehicles are too small to see properly, even the ingame text is so tiny that I'm going crosseyed trying to read it, like looking down the wrong end of a telescope..
I can't even try adjusting to a more comfortable resolution because there don't seem to be any reso setting options..

I've given up on CS and uninstalled it, I don't even like the unrealistic game system, let alone the bad graphics.
I can't remember being so disappointed with a game for a long time because I'd heard good things about CS and it seems to have a big fan following, so I don't know whether it's me who's nutty or them.
EDIT- No hard feelings, I'm not singling out CS, I regularly uninstall other stuff too

If you enjoy Gumby and Pokey, then play it? :dunno: I never saw CM as much realistic either.
CS is not for everyone? :rolleyes:
And, if your effort was to this small a degree followed by complaints you should just stick to what you like and return to concentrate on CM? :smoke:
