What exactly is the Sea and Air combat forum, in other words, what games does it pertain too?
Hi Chris, Paul posted this in the "important threads" area:

Steel God Wrote:The Uncommon Valor Ladder has been renamed the Sea and Air Combat Ladder to better reflect the nature of the games that are played, and also may be added, to this ladder community.

Any questions feel free to ask.

Ed
Thanks. BTW - Like I read anything Paul posts! :P

I thought maybe it was a new game that came out. I searched the forum trying to see if it said anything but didn't, now I know why.
Morning Chris,

The ladder included games such as :

War in The Pacific
War Plan Orange
Uncommon Valour
12 O`Clock High

They are all DIFFERENT games compared to CM/CS/TOAW 3.
I will have to check out 12 O'Clock high. Never heard of war plan orange, will check that out too. I still own B17, where you get to fly as crew in B17 missions.
12 O clock looks exactly like Battle of Britain by Talonsoft, is that supported here and does anyone play it?
Yes, Talonsoft's Battle of Britain is supported on this ladder. 12 O'Clock High looks very much like BoB, because it was the sequel to it.
Battle of Britain and 12 O'Clock High are being redone by Matrix. I'm on the playtest team for this one.
How is that coming Ranger? I will pick that up when it comes out. I have the old originals, but have yet to play them when I learned Matrix was releasing them.
I got a question myself. I was reading through the WITP manual and it mentioned CV's operating _in_ hexes with a base in them receive a 50% penalty to all there flights. Whats the logic behind that? I'm I misunderstanding because that makes escorting invasion forces with CV's totally not worth it.
