Having been stationed in the Fulda Gap in the mid to late 70's how is this game?

I've thought about getting it but so far haven't.

Pretty good.. probably my favourite in the series.

yeah Steve ... Fulda gap '85 is a good game ... i think of it as an introduction to grand modern campaigns (like Danube Front) since the map for the main campaign isn't huge.
it is also my first ever HPS simulations game :) so it has a special place in my memories.

as for you Mark !!! I'll catch you on the battlefield
