Punching a Hole in the Line at Tarakanovka
Tarakanovka, Russia, August 2, 1942: (Hypothetical). This scenario depicts an infantry attack by two German Infantry divisions supported with Corps assets against a Soviet Rifle Corps. The Germans have the advantage of higher morale, greater firepower, and an abundance of engineering units. The Soviets have the advantage of a defensive line in prepared positions, more artillery and more infantry. The objective of the German attacked is to take the victory hexes and exit as many troops off of the map as possible.
