This is a modification of the original "The Historical Grand Scenario for the Battle of the Bulge." Historically the 101st Airborne and 82nd Airborne Divisions arrived "minus some equipment and with less than the perscribed load of ammunition (Cole)." While the trip was made in trucks, the divisions were apparently not truly motorized. This variant has these divisions arriving low on ammunition, and the OOB has been altered to make most of the units move by foot. The 101st Division arrives near Champion on the march to Bastogne where it was deployed by the morning of the 19th. The 82nd arrives near Durbuy on the march to Werbomont where it assembled in the night of the 18th.
