While I'm still in 'observe & comment' mode; there are some other less ambitious enhancements to PzC that would improve the game imho.

1) "POST-TURN" VIEWING FEATURE

After I end my turn and exit the game (or open another scenario) I'm unable to revisit the scenario, review my end-of-turn unit positions, strategize, etc. The best I can manage is to take screen captures of a couple of critical map areas before I exit the scenario. Wouldn't it be great if you could reopen your last completed PBEM game turn with your own player password, allowing you to review the end-of-turn situation while waiting for an opponent's next move?

2) DISPLAY UNIT GRAPHICS FOR SCHEDULED REINFORCEMENTS

When I'm learning a new scenario/game I like to develop a complete understanding of my OOB; all the strengths & weaknesses of my military assets. This is very difficult when it comes to reinforcements; the Unit List Dialog only displays very cursory information on reinforcements (unit name, generic type, rail/travel mode status). The only way to view the specs of your reinforcements is to hunt them down in the DAT files or to open the scenario and advance through the game turns until they arrive (very tedious for reinforcements arriving on Turn 200!). Wouldn't it be great if you could go to the Unit pull down menu, select 'Scheduled', click on any of the listed reinforcements in the Scheduled Dialog, and have the reinforcement units displayed in the hex info area (since the cursor goes to the arrival hex anyway)?

3 RAIL MODE HOT KEY

Some games make extensive use of rail movement; on any given turn a player might be toggling 30-40 units in/out of rail mode. Wouldn't it be great if we could do this simply by selecting the unit(s) and hitting the "R" key?
"POST-TURN" VIEWING FEATURE

Just save the turn one last time, using a different file name, before ending the turn. You can then load that file anytime after you've sent the completed turn to your opponent.
Good idea, but I was referring to PBEM games using the "No Save" option.
Oh, OK, I always have the save option on, it's especially hard to do a fat campaign turn at one sitting.
I agree with point 2)

Many times i have wanted to use my reinforcements to support a sector or mount a counterattack or form a reserve, but without knowing the numbers of the units or their quality (a commander would have a good idea of the numbers and if the units were experienced or green) it is difficult to plan for their use.

However there are possibily 10 other minor changes like this i would want made to PzC in a perfect world, but will we get them? maybe.........;)
To check out all your reinforcements I do this.

1. Open the scenario in the editor.
2. Save under a new name.
3. Go into Units/Scheduled
4. Delete all reinforcements you wish to see.
5. Save the scenario - inspect at your leisure all the reinforcements (they will be sitting on their entry hexes).

Less tedious and very informative.

Hope this helps. :)
With number one screen shots are the best you can do. Consider them aerial recon photos. Some written notes can help.

Number two has never really been a problem for me. The dialog box tells you the division type. Reinforcements are usually the same quality as similar divisions in play. The exceptions to this rule of thumb are easy enough to know. I could see the suggestion as a nice to have feature.

I have wished for a hot key for rail movement as in number three on occasion. The number of times I would really need it in all the games I have played was not that often.
