I am sure this has been answered before but, I have a new laptop and when I try to install the patches for the games I get this message from WINZIP:

Extracting to "C:\Program Files\HPS Simulations\France '40\"
Use Path: yes Overlay Files: yes
Error: Access is denied.
Cannot create C:\Program Files\HPS Simulations\France '40\#0510_01x_Campaign.scn

Interrupted

Does any one have any idea how to get the updates loaded on vista??
Ask Rich at HPS ?? :chin:
Hi Jim
A friend of mine had the same problem. I am pretty sure he had to install the games in a folder that was not in the 'Program Files' folder. That seemed to work for him.

That's essentially correct. Don't use ANY of the Windows created folders or any folders under them. Vista protects them and non-Vista programs don't work well there. Create a root folder for your games directly under the c:\ drive. I use a folder named GAMES. The only games I allow to install in the default directory are those labeled "Games for Windows".
I just turned off the security features and had no problems.
yeah , i have windows Vista and the HPS games are running great ... install to C:\HPS Simulations\Minsk '44 (for example).
Or I suppose one could go to the HPS Website:
http://www.hpssims.com/

And click on the link right at the top of the page that says:
"got VISTAâ„¢?"
...which leads to the page ...
