Name the prominent landmark in the screen shot below. This has been fought over in two PzC titles. First to post the name the city and the two titles on this thread receives 5 ladder points!

Vitebsk.

Smolensk 41 and Minsk 44.
Hey DS, stop posting these questions while i am in bed! :hissy: ;)

I am just in the process of taking Vitebsk in a CG of S41, so i knew that straight away! Big Grin

Well done Marty...........
Yes

if you are going to make them that easy you need to post them so us brits can have a crack at them at the same time. (It was the two games clue gave it away.) That and I am studying the Minsk map for a forthcoming campaign :whis:.

I can see a whole new type of quiz coming up here
von nev is right
The village where the Smurfs live?
von Nev will be receiving his points shortly.

How easy will these be? That is a calibration I will conduct. I am sure they will become harder. I intend to sprinkle the posts for all to guess at at different times in the 24 hour period so all will have a good chance to crack these posts.

I find the terrain in PzC is much more than fluff. The detail in the maps is great. The positioning of the terrain has a direct effect on the feel of the game. A wise player uses the terrain as an ally.

Ready for another round of where is DS?

Try and identify this important milestone to victory. Name the game and location for 5 ladder points.
This post should be available first to the other half of the world from my last quiz. And since someone asked to make it harder.....

Hmmm. It looks a little like Smolensk but not sure.
Still Stumped? Did not see this thread? Try, try, again.
