In working towards unification of all the CS titles into 3 main categories for the simplicity of game reporting and scenario searching, The Matrix CS listing has been removed from the available games list.

An updated game listing for the EF2, WF & RS games has been added, be sure to visit your member page and update your information to show that you have these games, rather than the matrix edition.

In due time, we will no longer list the various sub categories of the CS games as well and members will only need to add new scenarios under the appropriate 3 main listings.
**When adding new scenarios it is requested that NO symbols be used in front or after the scenario names, simply put in the names from this point forward as a *,!,#,@, symbol makes the scenario appear BEFORE it is supposed to in the drop down box thus creating confusion and wrong reports to a duplicate entry.

All the scenarios in the DB under the Matrix edition have been edited to only show up on their appropriate game reporting menus. Further updates involving the other sub categories will follow.

Members who do not have the matrix editions will simply use the 3 main categories for reporting games.

Duplicates of some scenarios exist at this time, please refrain from adding more duplicates by either asking for assistance from the custodians or myself in finding a scenario that does not appear in the report a game lists.
We will help you find and report to the correct listings.
If you spot a duplicate listing PLEASE report it to the custodians so we may keep a tally on them and work towards merging the duplicate records into a single listing.

Our current DB woes are the results of years of neglect, we are working towards restructuring and reclaiming our lost data and hopefully a smoother operation will birth from our efforts.
We do need members to step up and help us spot the anomalies and report them rather than let us find them on our own sometimes.. it's the least anyone can do and it does help us keep TheBlitz running for you to enjoy.

Question Randy,
Being a member of the Matrix Beta Brigade yourself, you know that it is policy over there to use ** in front of the scenario title. Jason asked us to do that for new scenarios
I assume we take over the original scenario titles one on one (so with ** if it exists in the original title?).

Let me get with Jason on that Huib.. I'd like to keep it all uniform and easy to find the scenario regardless of what game company it is from (Matrix or TS)

Right now we have several different naming systems floating about and it's rather a waste and exposing A LOT of duplicates that have 1 or 2 games reported, while the twin has 70 games reported to it. :)

Allright thanks. I asked because I already added my 1.03 scns in the DB here so that they would already be there once members start to play them.

The updating continues

RS gold and Imperial Strike sub categories are now gone and merged into the RS category.

Project blitz CD 1 is now merged into EF2


* Fall of the Reich is merged

In way of explanation and instruction:

What Randy has done so far is remove the original Matrix title that would show up on your Ladder slot, for the games you play.
For those who updated their general data, and for those that have the Matrix CS edition exclusive, you will need to do the following:

Go to your Member Page from the link above in the G-1 | Admin area.
Then click on Change General Data
Select Campaign Series
And then select all three (using the control key)

CS: The Matrix Games version of West Front
CS: The Matrix Games version of East Front II
CS: The Matrix Games version of Rising Sun

Then scroll to click and deselect other game sub-section listing ie. RS Imperial Strike, or WF Sealion.

WF EF2 RS DG
If you go to my member page you will see that I now have WF, EF2, & RS listed in the area of games that I play/own.
Obviously, if you have DG it will also show up and if you play DG/V you will have to keep that selected until Randy inputs other lines.
You can also see that player/members who selected the old Matrix titles have blanks in their "games played" boxes?

As Randy said, we are trying to streamline and upgrade the d-BASE for scenarios to eliminate any confusion.

Kudos to Randy for taking on this task! He does work tirelessly for our club! :thumbs_up:
