Full Version: New Scenario - Need Opinions

Hi Guys,

I have been working on a theme for some new, hypothetical East Front scenarios. My theme would be to create scenarios that fight over terrain from early war stock scenarios.
In the attachment, I took the "Deadly Encounter at Petreshiva (sp?)" map and expanded it. Then I created a situation where the Germans are retreating in '43, while the Soviets move to cut off the retreat. The forces are different than what you would expect. Germans have cavalry, Stugs, captured Soviet equipment, and more of a mix of units that are struggling to prevent themselves from being overrun. The Soviets have a hodge podge of paras, atr platoons, some light SP/AT, and some lend lease equipment to stem the flow of the Germans trying to escape. Along with some hasty blocks, mines, and dug in positions to help them hold off the Kraut "ebbing tide". It's called "Horse and Butterfly".

After working on a couple scenarios, I playtested this one and made a few changes. There are a couple OOB quirks that will be fixed when I redo it in the 1.03 Matrix version release.

Anyone want to try it out with another member?
I did not want to put the scenario in the dBASE because it needs the revisions. And, I can certainly use some unbias feedback. ;)

I'm interested to know if it "sucks" or if it has potential. Note, for those who have the original that was playtested, you will need to download these files to have the latest version. Whip

Thanks! cheers
